Blithe Spirit, a comedy by the infamous Noel Coward,. takes its name from the famous Percy Bysshe Shelley poem To a Skylark. The action of the play centers on socialite Charles Condomine being haunted by the ghost of his first wife Elvira following a séance, and Elvira's continued (and increasingly desperate) efforts to disrupt Charles's current marriage. The play is notable for the comic character of Madame Arcati, the eccentric medium. The show is directed by Looking Glass Theatre's co-founder Kay Furrer. It features veteran Looking Glass actors Suzette Southfox as Madame Arcati, and Ralph Dobson as Dr. Bradman. It also welcomes newcomers Patience Winters as Edith, Debbie Peterson as Mrs. Bradman, Cheryl Livingston as Ruth, Diane Malloy as Elvira, and Kenneth Gray as Charles. Be sure to mark your for the three night only run starting Thursday, May 22nd through Saturday, May 24th. All show start at 8 PM.
